Outreach
Community Programmes
Building stronger communities through meaningful programmes.
Emmaus EFC moved into the Macpherson area in year 2012. We believe that it is God’s arrangement for us to be located in this area. Being saved by grace through faith in Christ, God has prepared for us to do good works through Christ (Eph 2: 8 – 10). Hence, we hope to share God’s goodness and blessings in our lives in our neighbourhood. Our desire is for the programmes to help us form authentic relationships with our neighbours.
Presently, Emmaus Neighbourhood Outreach (ENO) has started two programmes to bless our neighbourhood.
Programme For Students
Tuition
During school term, ENO Tuition provides free English and Math tuition for primary school students through the help of our church’s volunteer tutors.
During each session, the ENO
Tutor will use materials available from assessment
books to revise the content learnt in school to bridge the learning gap for the children. The tuition group size is kept small (3 – 6 students to 1
tutor) so that there will be close monitoring and checking of understanding.

Programme For Community
Events
Every quarter, our church opens its doors to the wider community through outreach programmes
that bring families and friends together. From fun carnivals and festive gatherings to meaningful
communal activities, these events are a chance for us to build friendships, share God’s love in practical ways, and create a welcoming space where everyone can feel at home.
